Customer Preparation & After-Care Guide

This guide is designed to help you prepare for your pest control service and
understand what to expect after treatment. A small amount of preparation helps us
work safely and ensures the best possible result β€” helping us to help you!

☐ Clear and safe access provided to the roof void (where applicable)

When A Property Is Not Fully Prepared
If preparation is incomplete, certain areas may not be safely or effectively treated. Where
safe to do so, we do our absolute best to treat everywhere we can, however effectiveness
may be reduced in inaccessible areas. In these circumstances, results cannot be fully
warranted.

After Your Pest Control Treatment
Post-Treatment Care

  • Do not mop or vacuum treated areas for a minimum of 48 hours – great reason to
leave the mopping alone for at least a week!
  • Keep windows and external doors closed until treated areas are fully dry – usually
within an hour or two (weather depending)
  • Allow treated surfaces to dry naturally, turning on fans is okay
  • Clean gutters and drains regularly
  • Clean up food and liquid spills promptly
  • Keep food covered and stored in airtight containers
  • Regularly clean under fridges, dishwashers, ovens, washing machines and dryers
  • Keep garbage in sealed bins and remove regularly – these are banquets for bugs!
  • Maintain lawns, gardens and external areas
  • Resume vacuuming after the advised period
    Important Information & Expectations
ο‚· Pest control treatments do not instantly eradicate cockroaches, ants or webbing
    spiders
ο‚· It is normal to see increased pest activity or dying pests for up to 14 days after
treatment – this is a good sign!
ο‚· Treatments work when pests contact treated surfaces – we want them to walk
    around on those treated surfaces
ο‚· It can take 7–10 days for the treatment to reach full effectiveness – expect to see
dead or dying bugs during this time
ο‚· Pest control treatments do not prevent pests from entering a property – it’s still
Australia with all our wonderful wildlife
ο‚· General pest treatments are not effective against huntsman spiders or other non-
webbing spiders – they are great at eating other bugs which is extra pest control!
ο‚· Re-decorating, new flooring and renovations can compromise the pest treatment
barrier so please consider re-treatment after these activities.

Thank you for your custom.
